About us
The Sisaala Development Network (SiDNet) is a development-oriented organization focused on improving the socio-economic conditions of the Sisaala area in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
SiDNet was established in 2021 to unite the Sisaala people and advocate for development projects that benefit the community. The maiden Presideng of SiDNet, Dr Yunus Dumbe, officially launched the network in June, 2024, highlighting the disparity in development levels within the Sisaala area.

Leadership
The Sisaala Development Network (SiDNet) is governed by a 13-member Executive Committee (ExeCo) with a 2-year term, renewable once, and members can contest again after a 2-year lapse following two consecutive terms, with provisions for votes of no confidence and interim succession.

In addition to the thirteen-member ExeCo, there are representatives from the four districts/municipality of Sisaala Land (Lambussie District, Sisaala East Municipality, Sisaala West District and Wa East District) and the President of the National Sisaala Students Union
Membership
To be a member of SiDNet, one must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and registered on her/his own volition. It is also open to individuals and organizations that support SiDNet's mission and objectives.
