On April 14, 2026, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, Member of Parliament for Sissala West, and Deputy Minister for Communication presented a cash donation of GHC40,000 to the people of Jitong to support the completion of their community health centre.
Jitong, a border community, initiated the construction of the facility through communal effort to address the healthcare needs of its residents.
During the final phase of his thank-you tour, the Chief of Jitong appealed to the MP on behalf of the community for support to complete the project.
Recognizing the urgency and significance of accessible healthcare, Hon. Sukparu responded immediately with the donation.
